Seltse: Hotels and Accommodation

The community cultural centre НЧ „Христо А. Градечлиев-2005“ was founded in 2005. It collects, preserves and passes on Bulgarian traditions, customs and spiritual values. It includes a 13-member authentic folklore group that takes part in folklore gatherings and opens the village festivals.

A village celebration in Seltse represented living traditions and a community dedicated to preserving its cultural heritage. Dozens of guests, residents, amateur artists and cultural figures came together for the celebration marking the cultural centre’s 20th anniversary. An anniversary celebration in 2025 included live music, entertainment and dancing.

Local vegetable growers provided the prizes for the tombola at the 2024 Seltse festival.

The village festival includes an equestrian tournament, which had reached its 11th consecutive edition by 2024. The 2023 tournament included 12 riders and 18 horses from the regions of Dobrich, Varna, Shumen and Burgas. The tenth edition of the Seltse tournament was held in a discipline featuring four courses.

Equestrian competitions take place in Seltse as part of a recurring local equestrian programme. The 2023 equestrian event attracted spectators of different generations to the village stadium.

An agricultural producer in Seltse grew tomatoes, watermelons and cabbage on 60 decares of land; in particular, the producer cultivated pink tomato varieties.

The turn-off to Seltse is located between Balchik and Kavarna. Seltse is also approximately 8 kilometres from Kavarna. The village can be reached via a turn-off from the main road towards the Romanian border.

There is no church, shop or visitor attraction in Seltse.
