Culture and history
The Lafchieva House in Dryanovo was built around 1840. It is a nationally designated cultural monument and a rare surviving Bulgarian example of a three-story monumental wooden structure.
The Dryanovo Historical Museum houses the exhibition “Kolyu Ficheto – Life and Work” in a building constructed specifically for this purpose. Models, photographs, and tools used in masonry, stonework, and woodworking are on display.
The Economova House is an architectural cultural monument of national importance. Kolyu Ficheto built it in 1859 for the family of the priest Vasyl Ikonomov. The house also contains an exhibition on church art from the Bulgarian National Revival period, with more than 150 icons, woodcarvings, and frescoes.
The clock tower of Dryanovo was built in 1778. The Church of St. Nicholas was one of Kolyu Ficheto’s first independent works and was built in 1851; it is an active cultural monument of national importance. The Kolyu Ficheto Bridge is 38.5 meters long and has four arches.
In the vicinity of Dryanovo, the exhibition on archaeology and the National Revival period at Dryanovo Monastery covers the history of the area from prehistoric times to the end of the 19th century. Also nearby, the ethnographic collection in Zaya presents rural life through thematically arranged displays of rooms, hearths, clothing, crafts, and agriculture.
Nature and trails
Located around 300 meters from Dryanovo Monastery, Bacho Kiro Cave is a protected natural monument. It has a developed visitor section around 700 meters long within a cave system approximately 3,600 meters long.
Dryanovo offers a 10-kilometer cycling route through Tsareva Livada, Docha, the Strinava Plateau, and Dryanovo Monastery.

The Dryanovo Tourist Information Center provides information about the sights of the town and municipality. It also provides contacts for transport companies and taxis, as well as information about the timetables of municipal buses.
Dryanovo can be reached via the Ruse–Podkova railway line. It is also accessible via Republic Road I-5 between Ruse and Stara Zagora.
