Culture

In the center of Boboshevo, the Nikifor Bibin House Museum presents a permanent museum collection. In the eastern part of the town stands the late medieval Church of Saint Elijah, built in 1687; it preserves extensive murals with an older layer from the 17th century and a newer one from 1898. In the upper part of Boboshevo, near the town cemetery, stands the late medieval Church of Saint Athanasius, dated to either 1590 or 1600.

Outside Boboshevo, on the road to Dragodan, stands the Chapel of Saint George, built on the site of an older church. On the ridge of the southern Ruen slope stands the Chapel of the Holy Archangel Michael. It was built after the Liberation on the site of an earlier church.

The architecture of the Church of the Holy Mother of God in Boboshevo, dating from the National Revival period, is unusual: it has ten columns and eighteen domes. The church was built between 1851 and 1862, remains active to this day, and is a cultural monument. About 4 km southwest of Boboshevo stands the Church of Saint Dimitur. It is a nationally significant architectural and artistic cultural monument and one of the few surviving examples from the 15th century. The medieval Church of Saint Theodore dates from the 10th to the 12th century and is described as having two layers of murals.
