The Boboshevo Important Bird Area includes Dobrovo among its northern settlements. The Struma River is the main watercourse of Boboshevo Municipality. The southern foothills of the Konjavska Mountains in Boboshevo Municipality are locally called Pogled Mountain. More than half of the lower section of the Skrinski Gorge of the Struma lies within Boboshevo Municipality.

Culture and History

The preserved church of the Boboshevo St. Dimitar Monastery has been completely restored. The monastery was established at the beginning of the 10th century; Saint John of Rila began his monastic journey at the Boboshevo St. Dimitar Monastery.

Near Dobrovo is the medieval Church of St. Theodore in Selishte, near Boboshevo. It was built between the 10th and 12th centuries. The Nikifor Bibin House Museum, a permanent museum collection, is located in the center of Boboshevo.

Food

The area around Boboshevo is known for its vineyards, cherries, and apples. Boboshevo Culinary 2017 presented appetizers, main courses, desserts, and breads.

Mountain Hut

Yana Hut is located in Boboshevski Ruen, in the St. Dimitar locality. It offers tourists a dining room and a kitchen. From Boboshevo, it can be reached via a four-kilometer asphalt road.
