The Klisura Historical Museum preserves the original bell with which the April Uprising was announced on April 20, 1876. An entire floor of the museum is dedicated to the city's participation in the April Uprising. The exhibition is arranged across three levels and covers art, local life, livelihoods, culture, and the April Uprising.

The “Pavurdzhieva House” offers an interactive presentation of life in Klisura in the mid-19th century. It also contains a preserved household rose still; visitors can watch a short film about rose distillation there. The “Kozinarova House” was restored in 1976–1977 and converted into a museum site. It preserves the well associated with the death of Tsana Kozinarova. The “Chervenakova House” displays an authentic grocery store from the early 20th century and was the first house to be completed.

Klisura and the surrounding area are suitable for hiking. A route from Klisura to Eho Hut is listed as a mountain route with a duration of 5–5.5 hours. Klisura is named as a starting point for mountain biking excursions in the southern foothills of Sredna Gora; routes ranging from beginner-friendly gravel roads to technically challenging trails are mentioned.
