There is also an archaeological site near the village of Konare: a Roman villa rustica, dated to the 2nd to 4th centuries, was excavated there in 2017. Finds include a pool, a steam bath with underfloor heating and three changing rooms. A hot-air heating system supplied by external furnaces was also identified. The museum collection and the find near Konare offer different insights into the history of the area.
