Astronomsko društvo Korenica was founded on Valentine's Day in 2003 to popularize astronomy. It works with children and adults. Visitors can meet its members and enjoy astronomical attractions.
The AB maraton Plitvice is traditionally held in Korenica in June.

Getting There
Korenica can be reached via the D52 from the direction of Otočac. Bus services operate on the D429, connecting inland Croatia with the coast, while Likaline provides local bus services throughout Lika-Senj County.
