Vrisnik: Hotels and Accommodation

Landscape

Zlatni Rat beach is located, roughly speaking, in the surrounding area of Vrisnik. The same surrounding area also includes, roughly speaking, the islet of Otočić Zečevo, the island of Otok Hvar and Mount Odzdrin.

From the church square, you can look out over the Stari Grad plain, vineyards and olive groves, Jelsa Bay, and across the sea towards Brač and Biokovo.

Getting Around

Hiking trails pass through Vrisnik, including a route to the local sites “Indijanci” and “Ulta stine”. Cycling paths also pass through the settlement.

Vrisnik can be reached from two directions: from State Road 116 near Jelsa or via the local road at the turn-off to Pitve.
