Culture

Near Orihi lies Križica, a viewpoint at an elevation of 330 metres, marked by a five-metre-high cross and a small chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Mount Carmel. A mass is celebrated there annually in mid-July.

Events

For Mototrka na prstenac, a track approximately 30 metres long was used in Orihi, which participants had to cover in five seconds. Mototrka na prstenac takes place annually in Orihi and attracts motor enthusiasts.

A traditional classic car gathering in Orihi was followed by a panoramic drive through Barbanština. More than 70 cars and motorcycles came to Orihi for Old Timer's Day and Old Fićo Day in 2017.

More than 300 visitors attended the 18th village festival Dan sela Orihi despite the bad weather. The Dan sela Orihi programme also included Mototrka na prstenac as well as Old Timer's Day and Old Fićo Day.

Culinary

Vorichi is a traditional Istrian konoba in Orihi. Vorichi also offers views over the family vineyard.

Konoba Vorichi has a menu inspired by local recipes and seasonal ingredients. It includes homemade pasta with local wines and homemade desserts, including sweet treats with honey and walnuts.

Things to Do

The planned Walk and Taste excursion is an approximately 13-kilometre hike through wooded terrain from Hrboki via MajÄići and Grandići to Orihi.

The proposed Walk and Taste excursion included a guided tour of natural attractions and the tasting of local specialities.
