Torkop's family tasting room is designed in an authentic Istrian style with stone and wood. Torkop processes olives in its own oil mill using a cold process on the same day they are harvested. The olive groves are located on terraced marl and sandstone terrain at elevations of 210 to 290 meters above sea level.

In the vicinity of Pračana, Sovinjak preserves a historic hilltop settlement with remains of defensive walls, the Church of St. George, the late Gothic Chapel of St. Roch with murals from 1571, a granary from 1647, and surviving Baroque and Neoclassical houses and palaces. Sovinjak is also associated with wine production and the production of high-quality olive oil. According to local tradition, the Roman empress Livia Drusilla drank exclusively wine from Sovinjak. Also in the vicinity, Nedeva is a traditional dish made from dry bread, cheese, eggs, salt, and pepper, which is then cooked in chicken broth.

History

Within Kaštel Petrapilosa, the Chapel of St. Mary Magdalene remained in use until 1793. The remains of medieval frescoes found in this chapel are kept at the Regional Museum in Buzet.

Nature

In the wider travel area, Staza 7 slapova is designated by the Buzet Tourist Board as a recreational and hiking trail and recorded 36,000 visitors in 2021.

The planned educational trail “Šume - zeleno blago Buzeštine” was described as being slightly longer than two kilometers. The planned educational forest trail was intended to run from Pračana and Majeri to Motovunska šuma and Istarske toplice. It was described as having an elevated section with views of nearby villages and Motovunska šuma. The planned trail project envisaged five visitor information boards about Motovunska šuma, forest protection, and local forest products. The summit of nearby Mt. Kuk is listed as being 202 meters high.
