The Štrika-Ferata follows the former Kanfanar–Rovinj railway line, which passed through Okreti. The Kanfanar section of this cycling and hiking route is 12 kilometres long, has only minor elevation changes and is described as easy for recreational cyclists. Another route is the Okreti–Šorići–Vrh Lima–Kanfanar route, which is 40.2 kilometres long and of moderate difficulty.

Culture and History

Pećinovac kod Okreti is a cave between Kanfanar and Sošići at the Istrian Y motorway interchange. It lies in the western wall of an oval karst sinkhole, is funnel-shaped and is situated at an elevation of 181 metres above sea level. The cave is 23 metres long, approximately 4 metres wide and 2.7 metres high.

Archaeological investigations at Pećinovac kod Okreti uncovered hearth ash, pottery, animal bones, flint artefacts, a millstone slab and a bronze needle. The site is associated with intermittent human use from the Eneolithic through the Bronze Age and Roman period to the Middle Ages.
