Nature

Ladićevi krugi encompass semi-natural grasslands and low shrubland on limestone. Under Habitat Directive 6210, they are considered significant orchid habitats. The semi-caves there have served as dwellings and livestock shelters since prehistoric times.

Culture and history

The Church of Saint Sixtus in Ladići dates from the 12th century and was once part of a Benedictine abbey. It is a single-nave stone building. Its Romanesque bell tower has a bifora on the western side and an opening on each of the other sides.

The area of Kanfanar is home to the medieval town of Dvigrad and historic churches. Draga includes fertile fields, wooded slopes, and Mediterranean vegetation; it is also home to Romuald's Cave and the protected Limski kanal. Climbing and Kašteljir are also among the local experiences.

Hiking

Several planned hiking connections are intended for Ladići and its surroundings. P3 is a planned 1.9-kilometre hiking route from Kanfanar to Ladići via Limska draga. A planned route, P2.1, runs around Ladićevi krugi. Another planned hiking route connected to Ladićevi krugi leads towards Korenići.

Cycling and cuisine

The Dvigrad climbing area has 117 climbing routes. The Monti route of the Weekend Bike & Gourmet Tour passes through Ladići. The Weekend Bike & Gourmet Tour is a recreational cycling experience held in spring and autumn. The tour includes gastronomic specialties from inland Istria.
