Cycle Route 343 Proština passes through Veliki Vareški. From Cokuni, the route runs towards Veliki Vareški, passes through the village and continues along a gravel section towards Kavran. Cycle Route 343 Proština is 24 km long and connects with the Flanatica Cycle Route at two points. It is a route of medium difficulty, with descents, climbs and flat sections. XCM Rakalj was planned as the fifth edition for 2026. The 2026 announcement offered a longer route of 61 km and a shorter route of 35 km.

The Wine, Cheese & Honey Stroll connected Mutvoran, Cokuni, Šegotići and Veliki Vareški in a loop that returned to Mutvoran. The event featured five tasting stations with 15 wines, five types of cheese and three types of honey, and used an 8 km circular route. In the surrounding area, the 2024 Wine, Cheese & Honey Stroll also included a visit to the Stancija Kumparička goat farm, with cheese tasting and an introduction to rural work and rural life.
