Beach and Water

Centinera is a named beach in Banjole with a managed pebble beach stretching for approximately 430 meters. The shoreline slopes gently into the sea and is described as suitable for families swimming in shallow water. Centinera Beach Aquapark is located in a safe, quiet lagoon protected from rough weather. From there, kayaking, SUP, small-boat, jet-ski, and pedal-boat trips lead through nearby lagoons and bays. Trails and Nature

Bumbište is an easy 2.5-kilometer walking trail with an estimated duration of 45 minutes. The trail begins at the parking lot of the port of Banjole and ends at the port. It includes a forest clearing with a view of the Fraškeri archipelago.

The Banjolka cycling route begins and ends in Banjole near the community center. It passes through Soline Forest Park, whose ecosystem has been protected since 1996.

Culture and History

In the heart of Banjole lies the History Park of the Municipality of Medulin, an open-air museum/gallery. It presents settlements of the Medulin Riviera from prehistory, antiquity, early Christianity, the Middle Ages, and the present day. The History Park is accessible to visitors with reduced mobility as well as blind or visually impaired visitors and features information in Braille and audio interpretations.

Near the end of the Banjolka route is the Cnobori Local Gallery. Its permanent exhibition includes reproductions and personal items belonging to the artist Josip Crnobori and the actress Marija Crnobori.

Fishing and Cuisine

Fishing has long been part of Banjole’s identity. The village has fish restaurants; visitors staying with fishermen can go out to sea with them or buy a fresh catch directly at the small harbor.
