Žužići: Hotels and accommodations

The “Hidden Paths of Tinjan” quad tour starts in Žužići near Tinjan and covers approximately 30 to 35 kilometers on unpaved roads, gravel paths, and through forests. The “Let's Go to the Sea” quad tour also begins in Žužići near Tinjan and includes a stop at the ruins of Dvigrad.

“Od lokve do lokve (615)” is an easy 26-kilometer cycling route that starts and ends in Tinjan. It connects Tinjan's restored old ponds; each pond has a rest point for cyclists. A 12-kilometer circular route passes Žužići, Banki, and Milohanići via forest and gravel roads, where hikers can see domesticated animals.

The “Drystone Walls” hiking trail runs 12.7 kilometers between Tinjan and Kringa, is classified as moderately difficult, and has a stated duration of three hours. The “Drystone Walls Trail” connects Kringa and Tinjan primarily via dirt tracks and gravel, with some single-track and paved sections.

Culture and history

The Enriko Depiera Native Collection in Tinjan contains approximately 5,000 ethnographic, archival, and cultural-historical objects. Tinjan's Church of Saints Simon and Jude Thaddeus dates from the 18th century and is a late Baroque example in Istria. The free-standing bell tower of this church was built in 1762 and is 28 meters high.

The Žužići-Brig site is recorded as a pre-Illyrian Bronze Age burial mound west of Žužići.
