Landscape and Location

Dinjiška is located at the end of the eight-kilometre-long bay of the same name on the southern side of the island of Pag. Dinjiška lies on the island’s main road between Novalja, Pag and the mainland via Ražanac. Dinjiška is situated on a shallow bay with numerous secluded beaches. History and Culture

The basins of a former saltworks, built during the French administration at the beginning of the 19th century, have been preserved in Dinjiška. The Church of Saint Maurus stands in the centre of the village. It was completely rebuilt in the 16th century.

Things to Do

The area around Dinjiška is suitable for hiking and boat trips. The Pag Bike 41 cycling route is described as a 21-kilometre-long trail. It leads from Povljana via Veliko Blato and the Bay of Dinjiška back to Povljana.

Nature

On 1 October 2016, a guided birdwatching tour with Natura Jadera took place in the Veliko Blato ornithological reserve on the island of Pag. Resident and migratory bird species were presented during the tour.
