Mandre: Hotels and Accommodation

Mandre first reveals itself through its coastline: Mandre's public beach is more than 3 km long and includes pebbly and rocky sections. The coast of Mandre includes a 3 km-long pebble beach. Nature

Culture

Mandarska Bay has long served as a shelter for boats travelling along the Adriatic and offers protection from all winds. Historically, the port of Mandre served as an overnight anchorage and refuge from the Bora and other strong winds. Along the coast of Mandre, mooring bollards carved into the rock dating back to Roman times can still be seen.

Food and Drink

In the surroundings of Mandre, Sirana Gligora offers individual and group visits, as well as a tasting room with various menus featuring selected Gligora cheeses. The restaurants on Mandre's promenade serve Pag cheese, Pag lamb and fresh seafood caught by local fishermen. Mandre Beach has cafés, restaurants, a pastry shop, a water park and jet ski rental.

Events

The Fešta od janjetine takes place every June in Mandre. The event features spit-roasted lamb and boiled mutton prepared in the traditional Kolan style. The lamb celebrated at the Fešta od janjetine bears a protected designation of origin from the EU. The Sea Festival takes place every August in Mandre.
