Kolan: Hotels and Accommodation

In Kolan, the “Putevima kolanjske prošlosti” hiking trail connects the Bunar, the Church of St. Jeronim from the 15th/16th century, the remains of a Roman villa rustica, the protected Kolanjsko blato ornithological reserve, dry-stone walls, traces of coal mining from 1756 to 1966, and the stone bridge near Suteska on a circular route.

Culture and History

The Kolan Ethnographic Collection was founded in 1978 by KUD Bartul Kašić. Its exhibitions in a konoba and a household show the everyday life and work of the residents of Kolan.

Culinary Delights

The Fešta od sira event has been held in Kolan on the island of Pag since 2015 and is primarily dedicated to promoting Paški sir. It gives visitors, especially tourists, the opportunity to discover the gastronomy, cultural heritage and traditions of the island of Pag.

Pag cheese can be tasted and purchased in smaller dairies and family businesses in the Kolan and Mandre area.
