Žuljana Bay is predominantly home to a fine-sand beach. The nearby VuÄine Bay offers two pebble beaches with easy access to the water and shade from pine trees. The smaller Kremena Bay can be reached from the local church or from the Žuljana waterfront promenade.

Culture and History

Four old churches are visible around the beaches of Žuljana, including Gospe od Sedam Žalosti, Sv. Roko-Julijana, Sv. Nikola, and Sv. Martin. Ruins of old farmsteads preserve traces of former viticulture, olive cultivation, and agricultural life.

Geographical Location

The mountains of Čerjan, Sveti Ivan, Debeli Brijeg, and Grabošnica, as well as the Sveto Trojstvo church, are located near Žuljana. The surrounding area contains, among others, the churches of Kremena and Sveti Liberan; the wider regional area includes, among others, the Sutmiho church.
