Brnjica: Hotels and Accommodation

The Brnjica–Čikola Trail leads through the rocky Čikola Canyon to the riverbed. Along the entire trail, there are views of the medieval Ključica Fortress on the edge of the canyon.

Skradinski buk and the Krka Waterfalls are located in the surrounding area of Brnjica. Crni Vrh and Moseć Planina are also nearby.

Culture and History

Fort Saint John and Barone Fortress are also located in the surrounding area of Brnjica. Fort Saint Michael and Sveti Nikola are situated in the wider regional area.

Ključica is a medieval fortress from the 13th century above the Čikola Canyon. It can be viewed from the Brnjica–Čikola Trail, but is not prepared for visits.

Access to the Brnjica–Čikola Trail is signposted from the Šibenik–Drniš road. In Brnjica, follow the signs on wooden posts and continue along a dirt track to the edge of the canyon. An outdoor car park is available. The gravel path descends steeply to the Čikola riverbed; the return journey follows the same route.
