Drinovci: Hotels and Accommodation

Nature

The Bačići Trail in Drinovci is 1,800 metres long. It begins in the hamlet of Bačići in Drinovci and leads to viewpoints overlooking Visovac. Along the way, it passes through the dry-stone walls of Miljevci, built using traditional techniques. Since 2018, this technique has been inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Hiking and Cycling

Near Drinovci, the 8.5-kilometre Stinice–Roški slap–Oziđana pećina educational trail runs through the Krka canyon. From there, there are views of Visovac and the cascades of Roški slap. Also nearby, the approximately 1.7-kilometre Ključica Hiking Trail leads through a natural landscape to views of Ključica Fortress, Lake Torak, and the confluence of the Čikola and Krka rivers.

The Torak Route descends into the Čikola canyon and offers views of Ključica Fortress and Torak. It begins at the cemetery and school in Drinovci and leads towards the hamlet of Ključ.

Culture

The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus is located in Drinovci and was built at the beginning of the 18th century. The island of Visovac, with the Franciscan Monastery of Our Lady of Mercy, is located near Drinovci; the monastery preserves a museum collection containing four incunabula. Near Drinovci, at Roški slap, restored mills, pounding mills, and fulling mills have been preserved and are considered ethnological and ethnographic monuments.

The ojkavice festival is a recurring cultural event in Drinovci. In the 2026 city programme, its 13th edition was listed at the Drinovci branch school. Miljevačke užance is also held in Drinovci, a recurring cultural event organised by KUU Miljevci. The programme includes Miljevci dances as well as the singing styles ojkalica and treskavica.
