Culture and History
The parish church of Saint Peter the Apostle dates from 1852 and has a bell tower dating from 1875. The Chapel of St. Nediljice dates from 1930, and the Chapel of St. Peter and Paul from 1963.
Siverić was formerly one of the most important mining centers on the Adriatic in the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. Emperor Franz Joseph I visited the Siverić mine in 1875. An educational trail to the entrance of the former mine in Siverić includes cleared terrain, information panels, and an installed entrance door.
Krsto Odak (1888–1965), a Croatian composer and music educator, came from Siverić. His Slavonic Masses and predominantly sacred vocal works draw on the folk church tradition. His opera Dorica pleše uses folkloric elements.
Hiking
