Lokva Rogoznica: Hotels and Accommodation

Culture and History

The parish church of the Assumption of Mary was built in Lokva Rogoznica in 1867 and consecrated by Bishop Nakić on June 22, 1900. The carefully hewn stone building has the layout of a Greek cross and stands on the site of an older church first mentioned as early as 1495. The dome contains frescoes of the four Evangelists by Podolski from 1937.
