Načeradec: Hotels and Accommodation

Načeradec is located in the Blaník Protected Landscape Area and has a picturesque setting with beautiful panoramic views. The historic town center is arranged around a spacious, somewhat irregular, approximately rectangular square.

Townscape and History

Načeradec has predominantly small-scale, low-rise historic buildings, some of which have a rural character. A large Baroque chateau stands on the eastern side of the square. The origins of the Church of Saints Peter and Paul date back to the second half of the 12th century.

The history of the Jewish community is also reflected in the townscape: the Jewish cemetery in Načeradec dates from the 18th century and documents the former presence of a larger Jewish community. The Načeradecký missal dates from the late 13th century and is considered the oldest surviving written monument in the Benešov region.

Landscape and Trails

The Sovova educational trail runs along forest and field paths and follows the green-marked hiking route. It continues to Načeradec and Velký Blaník. The “In the Footsteps of the Blaník Knights” cycle route is 32 kilometers long, classified as moderately difficult, and leads to Načeradec.

At Obecník, fishing is permitted from May 1 to December 31 only with a permit. Parking cars at the Obecník dam is signposted.
