Neveklov can be explored through several historic sites: St. Gallus Church probably already existed in the 13th century, and its masonry is probably largely Gothic. Architectural elements from the 13th and 14th centuries have been incorporated into the church’s surrounding wall.
Culture and History
The historic ecclesiastical architecture also includes the Chapel of the Virgin Mary, a small Baroque building dating from 1700 that opens onto four arcades. The Neveklov Synagogue is an unadorned building on the southern side of Táborská Street, east of the square.
Around 160 tombstones have been preserved in the Jewish cemetery of Neveklov. The cemetery is locked; a key can be borrowed from the cash desk at the municipal office.
Neveklov can be explored with the Smartguide audio guide. For several years, the Neveklov Information Centre has housed an exhibition featuring works by local painter and graphic artist Miroslav Mašek. Additional exhibitions are also held there throughout the year.
Nature
Neveklov is located on the well-known Greenways Praha–Vídeň cycle route. The château park in the Tloskov district is freely accessible.
