In Roztoky, Archevita offers an introduction to prehistory in the form of a multimedia archaeological exhibition. On display are true-to-scale reconstructions of prehistoric dwellings, archaeological finds, and reconstructed burial structures. Holographic projections, video mapping, and interactive educational features at information kiosks complement the exhibition.

History

From April to October, the Ateliér Zdenky Braunerové exhibition is accessible exclusively with a guided tour, from Wednesday to Sunday. It features restored doors, shutters, and wooden-beamed ceilings in their original colors and surface treatments, and includes a collection of more than seventy paintings by Zdenka Braunerová.

Villas for summer stays were already being built in Roztocké Tiché údolí after 1851; chronologically, the valley is considered the oldest site of this type of villa resort. The Život v letovisku exhibition presents contemporary and historical furnishings, home accessories, tableware, and examples of historical fashion, often originating from the villas of Roztoky.

Nature

The Roztocký háj – Tiché údolí educational trail runs through the nature reserves. The Levý Hradec educational trail is 800 meters long and has eight stations.

The Paměť města project in Roztoky uses QR codes, historical photographs, and a mobile app with audio features to support a self-guided tour.
