Dobříč: Hotels and accommodations

The Tachlovice-Chýnice profile features natural rock outcrops and small old quarries in Dobříč. The geological locality is recommended for protection and includes paleontological sites as well as stratigraphic profiles from the Silurian to the Middle Devonian. It covers the cadastral area of Dobříč u Prahy and is located on the left-hand slopes of the valley of the Radotínský potok between Prostřední mlýn and Dolní mlýn.

Culture and history

In the southern part of the municipality lies the historic Dobříč farmstead, directly on road III/00511. Dobříč Château was converted into a granary in the 19th century.

The monument to those killed in the First World War in Dobříč was ceremonially unveiled on 14 July 1929 and reconstructed in 1993. The “Tradiční Dobříčské kuželky” event was scheduled to take place in Dobříč on 23 July 2022.

Nature and waterways

The revitalization of a total 2,013-metre section of the Radotínský potok and its tributary flowing into Štičkovy tůně extends across the cadastral areas of Tachlovice and Dobříč in the Praha-západ District. The aim of the measures on the Radotínský potok was to restore the watercourse to a natural, widened and structured character.

The revitalization of the Radotínský potok was intended to increase the biodiversity of the area and create favorable conditions for the development of wetland communities in shallow littoral zones. As part of the project, ponds were to be added in the affected area and extensive vegetation work was to be carried out in order to strengthen the landscape’s retention capacity.

Bus route 309 connects Dobříč with Zličín and Radotín. Bus route 310 runs between Zličín and Rudná.
