Potěhy: Hotels and Accommodation

The oldest written mention of the municipality of Potěhy dates from 1242. The document from 1242 describes Potěhy as a parish village consisting of two settlements.

The Church of Saint Gothard was rebuilt from 1856 to 1873 according to plans by F. Schmoranz. At the end of Potěhy, on the road to Drobovice, there is a chapel. It is a Baroque chapel from the mid-18th century and was added to the list of cultural monuments in 1973.

The former parish house in Potěhy, house number 1, accommodated the Ferdinand Berousek Circus for several months.

The Noční Potěhy event reached its tenth edition in 2026. It was held in men's and women's categories and was scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the football pitch in Potěhy.
