Culture

The Church of All Saints stands approximately in the middle of Oleška on gently sloping ground. It is an early Gothic church built in the last third of the 13th century. The polygonal apse is one of the oldest known examples of the use of this architectural element in the rural area of Central Bohemia. The Church of All Saints is listed in the Central Register of Immovable Cultural Monuments of the Czech Republic under number 36062/2–827. In Oleška, church services generally take place on the first Sunday of the month at 11:30 a.m.

Two differently located crosses are mentioned in the village and its immediate surroundings: the so-called Olešecký Cross is a stone cross made of red Nučický sandstone from the second half of the 19th century. It stands east of the village at the turnoff to Krymlov from the main road between Prague and Kutná Hora. This should be distinguished from the Křížek in the center of Oleška on the bank of the Nučický potok, which flows through Oleška.

Nature

The Čertova brázda is a clearly recognizable system of depressions, ditches, and sunken lanes extending for 21 kilometers between Sázava and Chotouň. Oleška is one of the places mentioned along the course of the Čertova brázda between Sázava and Chotouň. Along its entire course, the Čertova brázda remains more or less clearly recognizable in the terrain to this day.

The Dub u Olešky is a protected pedunculate oak (Quercus robur) regarded as an aesthetically interesting landscape landmark. It grows southeast of Oleška on the edge of a difficult-to-access wooded area.
