Stipoklasy: Hotels and Accommodation
The medieval and modern centre of Štipoklasy is an area with documented or reasonably suspected archaeological finds. The first written mention of Štipoklasy dates back to the 14th century; at that time, the village belonged to Zbraslavice Castle and Estate.
Culture and History
The Štipoklasy fortress was abandoned in the 17th century, eventually fell into disrepair and disappeared. In contrast, rural house No. 23 has been preserved and is protected as a cultural monument.
Landscape
The Vrchlice stream flows through Štipoklasy and rises east of the village in the Kutná Hora District. In the nearby area are Janovický kopec hill [Červené Janovice], U Rápošova hill [Zbraslavice], and U Kŕíže hill [Opatovice I].
In the wider regional surroundings of Štipoklasy are Kačina Chateau and Ostojovka Mountain [Ledeč nad Sázavou-Souboř]. The Loreta Church is also located there.
Connections
The Štipoklasy area is connected in a north–south direction to Zruč nad Sázavou and Kutná Hora via Road II/126. Road II/339 runs through Čáslav, Štipoklasy and Ledeč nad Sázavou.
The Štipoklasy railway station building, including the passenger shelter, is not accessible. Neither a cycle path nor a marked hiking trail runs through the Štipoklasy area.
