A pond on the road from Petrova Lhota towards Studený serves as a natural outdoor swimming area. Rybníček u Studeného is home to rich stands of bog arum (Calla palustris); the area also includes endangered wetland ecosystems with numerous protected plant and animal species.
Culture and history
The Jewish cemetery in Studený was probably established around 1700. It lies approximately 800 metres southeast of the town centre; a field path leading to it branches off from the Studený–Dunice road. About 60 gravestones dating from the 18th century to 1927 have been preserved in the Jewish cemetery in Studený.
The former castle site in Studený is closed to the public.

Želivský Kláštor Monastery, Melechov Mountain and the Church of Svatý Jan are located in the vicinity of Studený.
In the wider regional surroundings of Studený are the ruins of Orlík, Ostojovka Mountain [Ledeč nad Sázavou-Souboř], Špičák Mountain, Velký Blaník Mountain and the Loreta Church.
