Uhlířská Lhota: Hotels and Accommodation

The name Uhlířská Lhota is derived from charcoal kilns. The last two charcoal kilns in Uhlířská Lhota remained in operation until the beginning of the First World War. Between the two world wars, the cultivation and drying of medicinal herbs were well established in Uhlířská Lhota.

Culture

The tradition of the Sjezdy Lhot a Lehot gatherings began in Uhlířská Lhota. The first Sjezd took place there during the summer holidays of 1980. The Lhoty take turns hosting the Sjezdy Lhot a Lehot.

The village has a modern bell tower made of iron pipes. The Church of Saint Gall is designated as a cultural monument.
