Častolovice: Hotels and Accommodations
Častolovice Chateau developed from a water fortress dating back to the 13th century and was converted into a Renaissance chateau between 1588 and 1615. It is part of the tourism product “Zámky na Orlici – Česká Loira”.

Culture
The Knights’ Hall of Častolovice Chateau contains 24 depictions from the Old Testament. The same Knights’ Hall also houses the Šternberk family gallery. The Chapel of St. Mary Magdalene was built in 1580 and remodeled into its present form in 1832.
Construction of the Baroque Church of St. Vitus in Častolovice began in 1772; its tower is 36 meters high. The organ in the Church of St. Vitus is a mechanical two-manual instrument with a pedal, built in 1795 by Jan Jiří Španiel from Rokytnice v Orlických horách.
