Jahodov: Hotels and Accommodation

The Jahodovský stream flows through the valley below Jahodov. The forests of Jahodov cover more than 300 hectares and are visited by tourists and mushroom pickers. The Spálenisko spring can be reached on foot via a forest path and lies about 50 metres from the road and about 50 metres from the turn-off to Končiny.

The chapel in Jahodov was built in 1870 from a bequest by Wolfgang Hanuš. It is the only cultural monument in Jahodov.

In Jahodov, bobbin lace-making replaced the discontinued weaving trade. In almost all of Jahodov’s families, women and children worked with lace pillows in winter.

There are several log houses in Vršál. Log house No. 29 in Vršál was built in the 19th century by Ludvík Preclík.
