Landscape
The Štědrý stream flows through Tutleky. The Strýc and Velká Suchá mountains are located in the surrounding area. The nearby area around Tutleky also includes Borek Hill [Lupenice] and Kamenec Hill [Kostelec nad Orlicí-Kostelecká Lhota].
History
Hradisko is located near Tutleky, an Old Slavic promontory above the Štědrý stream. A castle or fortress is believed to have once stood on Hradisko. A large watchtower also once stood there, from which signals were sent using fire signs during enemy incursions.
Culture
The former school building in Tutleky was completed in 1880 and now serves as a clubhouse following its renovation. In Dubí, the cross was restored in 1888, set into masonry, and fitted with a small bell tower; five linden trees were planted around the bell tower in Dubí. There is also a statue of Saint John in Dubí.
Community Life
TJ Sokol uses the former school building in Tutleky for regular gymnastics. TJ Sokol’s regular program in Tutleky includes volleyball on Mondays and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
