Krchleby U Kostelce Nad Orlicí: Hotels and Accommodation

The Vrbický potok flows north of Krchleby. In the vicinity of Krchleby, Kostelec nad Orlicí is home to the Lípová stráň forest park, with three signposted educational trails around the Divoká Orlice.

The Brumbárov district comprises woodland, the Brodec stream and meadows. At the edge of the forest in Brumbárov there is a forest spring with refreshing water. The summer celebrations in Brumbárov are considered a modern local tradition.

Cycle Route 4320 runs along a local road through Krchleby and continues from Krchleby into the forest. Road III/3166 continues towards Vrbice, while Road II/316 connects Kostelec nad Orlicí and Choceň.

A statue of Saint John of Nepomuk stands in Krchleby as a local cultural monument. It is a high-quality piece of sculpture and stonework dating from 1699 and was moved from Vamberk to Krchleby in 1868. The Svídnická borovice memorial tree is located near Svídnice, northwest of Krchleby.

According to tradition, the Krchleber family built a fortress called “Ovčín” on a trade route. The former Ovčín farmstead was originally a fortress built entirely of wood; it burned down in 1908 and was not rebuilt. Pavlův Kříž lies southwest of Brumbárov. The first Pavlův Kříž is visible from the road.
