Near Štědrá, a small Gothic castle with two moats called Štědrý Hrádek once stood on a rugged rocky spur above the Borecký potok; it was probably founded in the mid-14th century. The Gothic stronghold of Štědrá was founded no later than the beginning of the 13th century on a slope in the eastern part of the village of Štědrá. Extensive remains of the fortifications of the former Štědrá stronghold have survived to this day.

In the western part of Štědrá, the Baroque Štědrá Chateau was built between 1730 and 1734 by Count Ferdinand Jakub Kokořovec z Kokořova, possibly according to a design by the architect Tomáš Haffenecker. After a fire in 1744, it was restored and expanded in the late Baroque style. During cultural events, Štědrá Chateau is occasionally open to the public.

The originally Gothic Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary in Štědrá was built in the first third of the 14th century west of the village square in the upper part of the municipality. After a fire in 1680, the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary was rebuilt and extended in the Baroque style; its exterior façades and windows were renovated in 1718. After 1995, it was completely reconstructed and is occasionally accessible.

Štědrá can be reached from the direction of Žlutice or Toužim by both bus and train.
