Culture and History
The Church of the Name of the Virgin Mary was built in 1893 in the Neo-Gothic style at the foot of Zámecký vrch in the center of Březová. It contains 14 valuable oil paintings of the Stations of the Cross dating from the mid-18th century.
A commemorative plaque in Březová marks the site of a former smithy where Peter the Great forged a staff and a horseshoe in 1711.
Starý mlýn is a half-timbered building in Březová constructed in 1898. It was built as an excursion café and restaurant.
Paths and Water
Round-trip route 8 leads from Poštovní dvůr through Březová to the terminus of the Karlovy Vary–Březová bus line. In the municipality of Březová, you can visit a reservoir in the Teplá valley. The Teplá continues on to Karlovy Vary and flows into the Ohře in the city center.
