At the edge of the municipality of Hájek lies the Obora Hájek game reserve, which shares its name with the municipality. Red deer and mouflon can be observed there. The reserve extends between the municipalities of Hájek, Sadov and Velký Rybník and covers 418 hectares.

The Obora Hájek educational trail begins and ends at the game reserve entrance from the municipality of Hájek and is approximately 5.2 kilometres long.

The “Around Obora Hájek” cycling loop is an easy, 18-kilometre circular route that is more suitable for mountain bikes. It runs along the game reserve as far as Hájek.

Hájek railway station is located on line 140 between Chomutov, Karlovy Vary and Cheb and is integrated into the integrated transport system.

The Chapel of Saint John of Nepomuk in Hájek is a protected cultural monument and a small sacred building dating from the first half of the 19th century.

The Gothic water castle of Hájek was built in the 14th century as the seat of the local Loket fief holders.

The Holy Trinity Column is a high-quality example of the artistic craftsmanship characteristic of the small sacred monument type typical of the region.
