Zádub-Závišín lies in the Slavkovský les Protected Landscape Area. A spa hiking trail leads through this area via Zádub-Závišín onward to the distinctive Podhorní vrch. The highest peak of the Tepelská vrchovina has two summits offering views of the surrounding landscape; at the same time, it is an extinct volcano and has been a nature reserve since 1997.

The Podhorní vrch mountain is located in the vicinity of Zádub-Závišín. The mountains Spálený, Lysina, and Ovčák are also located in the surrounding area. Part of the nearby golf course extends into the cadastral area of Zádub-Závišín.

Cycle route 2284 reaches Zádub via a field path and continues from there on a cycle path to Závišín.
History and village green
The former Hohendörfer Höhe café stood on the Zádubská výšina in the cadastral area of Zádub. It was a destination for walks taken by the first spa guests.
The reconciliation cross on the village green in Závišín is designated as a protected cultural heritage object. The Smírčí kříž in Závišín was restored after it was originally found in a roadside ditch on the road to Milhostov, and was relocated to the village green. There it stands in a triangular park opposite the war memorial.
