Poutnov: Hotels and Accommodation

The Baroque Poutnov Chateau was built after 1627 on the edge of the former farmstead. The village’s religious history includes the now-demolished Chapel of the Holy Trinity, where Mass was regularly celebrated on Whit Monday.

The late Baroque stone statue of Saint Anne Selbdritt in Poutnov was created in 1764. It depicts the saint with Mary and Jesus as children. The statue has been protected as a cultural monument since 1958 and was most recently restored in 2017. Another distinctive feature is the statue of Saint John of Nepomuk, an example of High Baroque sculpture in the Czech countryside.

The memorial to the victims of the First World War in Poutnov is shaped like a symbolic forest cemetery and was erected in 1925. It commemorates 23 citizens of Poutnov who fell, died, or went missing as a result of the war.

The access path to this monument has been restored; however, the memorial site is now neglected, becoming increasingly overgrown and partly inaccessible in summer. Poutnov Jewish Cemetery can be reached by turning directly off a public road and passing through a damaged opening in the wall without a gate.

Cycling route 2284 runs to Poutnov railway station. České dráhy currently provide no services at Poutnov railway station, and no České dráhy trains stop there.
