Dolni Rasnice: Hotels and Accommodation

Dolní Řasnice can be explored through specific sites along waterways, sacred architecture, historic buildings and landscapes. These themes come together particularly vividly around Kostel sv. Heleny and the waterways in the surrounding area.

Culture

Kostel sv. Heleny is situated on a terrace above the Řasnice stream on the border between Krásný Les and Dolní Řasnice. The site includes a former cemetery enclosed by a wall with a gate, a small chapel and a rectory. Heleny is also an example of early Gothic sacred architecture in the Frýdlant region.

The open-air museum Český svět comprises nine buildings that are several hundred years old. Visitors can also see half-timbered houses, which represent a connection between Czech and German folk architecture.

Nature

The Arnoltický vodopád, a three-metre-high cascade, is located on the Arnoltický potok. The built-up area of Dolní Řasnice lies along the Řasnice waterway. The southern locality of V Lukách in Dolní Řasnice lies partly within Peklo Nature Park, which protects the character of the local landscape.

The mountains Hřebenáč, Měděnec, Kukačka and Smrk are located in the vicinity of Dolní Řasnice.

Geographical location

Czocha Castle - Zamek XIVw. is located in the vicinity of Dolní Řasnice. In the wider regional area are Zamek Gryf Castle, the ruins of the Former Lauban Railway Substation and the ruins of the Hagenwerder power plant.

Hiking trail and exhibition

A yellow-marked hiking trail leads from the Řasnice zastávka stop to the eastern edge of Dolní Řasnice and the well-known Stelzigova kovárna. The exhibition at Stelzigova kovárna provides information about Andreas Stelzig and rural life from the 17th to the 20th century.
