Fojtka: Hotels and Accommodation
Fojtka lies entirely within the Jizera Mountains Protected Landscape Area. The Fojtka Reservoir is located on the Fojtka stream, on the border between Mníšek and Fojtka.
Water and Trails
The dam of the Fojtka Reservoir is made of rubble masonry and is 146 metres long. On summer days, the Fojtka Reservoir is used for swimming.
The Žulovou stezkou route runs via the lower trail junction of Fojtka and past a former granite quarry. The Fojtka Reservoir is one of the attractions listed along the route. Another connection for cyclists is provided by the “U medvěda” cycle route: it connects Krásná Studánka with Fojtka and joins cycle route 3006 directly in Fojtka.
Nature and Elevations
The Fojtecký mokřad Nature Monument protects high-quality wetland vegetation. The specially protected species vachty trojlisté and zábělník bahenní, a species listed in the Red List, are frequently found there. The protected area also includes an adjacent wet meadow where the specially protected species prstnatec májový and listenatý occur.
The mountains Ostrý and Brdo are located in the vicinity of Fojtka. Kančí vrch and Ptači vrchy are mountains in the area surrounding Fojtka. Dračí vrch is 675 metres high and is a viewpoint.

The wider regional surroundings of Fojtka include Czocha Castle - Zamek XIVw. The Hagenwerder power plant, now in ruins, and the churches Kaple Nejsvětější Trojice and Valdštejn are also located there.
