Peřimov: Hotels and accommodations

Peřimov lies on the Olšina stream at the foot of the Giant Mountains, in a long, open valley west of Jilemnice.

Location

The lower part of Peřimov’s cadastral area is bordered along its western edge by the Jizera River. South of the village is the 509 m-high Hrobka hill.

Nature

The Strážník locality lies 2 km southwest of Peřimov. It includes both the area of the national nature monument and the rocks at the summit of Strážník. The nature monument protects a unique crystallographic form of quartz known as star quartz. By car, the locality can only be reached with an access permit; the road approaches to within about 250 m of it.

Culture

A road bridge over the Jizera connects the two riverbanks in the cadastral areas of Peřimov and Dolní Sytová. The reinforced-concrete bridge dates from 1912. Listed cultural monuments include Chalupa No. 16, a timber-framed building whose original character was altered by renovations at the turn of the 1960s and 1970s. A large living room and a high-quality gable finial have been preserved. The “Na Skalí” farmstead No. 76, built in 1847, stands on steeply sloping terrain above the local stream and is a high-quality example of folk architecture of the developed chamber-and-stable type. The former Lukšův mlýn is a technical monument on the Peřimovský stream along the road between Peřimov and Mříčná and displays features of late Neoclassicism from the mid-19th century.

Events

“Pouť kolem Peřimova” is a walking and running event held almost entirely along the municipal boundary of Peřimov. It is documented for 2 August 2025, and listed in the events calendar for 1 August 2026. The Peřimovská pouť included a festive event on Saturday, the traditional pilgrimage on Sunday, and a concluding celebration on Monday from 1 to 3 August 2026. “Vepřové hody” is considered a traditional pork festival; the Peřimov Volunteer Fire Brigade SDH Peřimov invited people to the event on 4 October 2025 from 2 p.m. at V Klub in Peřimov. On 14 June 2026, at 4 p.m., the children’s ensemble Na Peříčku performed the play “Pohádky z Krakonošovy zahrádky” in the covered area of V Klub in Peřimov.
