Plechovsko [Vyskeř] is a hill in the vicinity of Vyskeř. The mountains Střelečská hůra, Přivýšina and Tábor are also located near Vyskeř. The Vyskeř trails lead through nature in a protected landscape area.
Culture and History
The Chapel of St. Anna was built in the second half of the 17th century by the nobility from Hrubá Skála. In 1963, it was added to the list of cultural monuments and is open to visitors seasonally. The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is a monumental Neo-Romanesque building with a nave, a side aisle and three altars. Valdštejn is a church in the vicinity of Vyskeř.
The Stations of the Cross consist of 14 small sandstone columns with profiled tops and metal crosses and lead from the local church to the summit of Vyskeř.
Paths and Transport
The Pekařova brána rock formation is accessible via stairs and can be climbed via four climbing routes. Tourist bus line 392 serves Vyskeř and operates as a bicycle bus during the season, with limited capacity for carrying bicycles.
