Townscape and Culture
Bílovice is home to a traditional vernacular masonry farmstead with a Žudr and farm buildings, constructed in the 18th century. The Hanácký žudr comprises a vaulted entrance area and an attic granary; it is not open to the public.
The Chapel of Saint Florian in Bílovice was consecrated in 1782. In the vicinity of Bílovice are the Pomník obětem 1. světové války monument, the Socha sv. Jana Nepomuckého statue, the Pomník obětem 1. a 2. světové války monument, and the Kostel sv. Andělů strážných church.
History
Hrad u Bílovic has an oval ground plan and covers approximately 1.5 hectares. The fortified hilltop settlement dating from the Late Stone Age is dated to approximately 3500 BC. It is located on a wooded spur above Bělecký mlýn.
Archaeological research has documented relatively intensive Slavic settlement from the 9th to the 10th century on both sides of the Romže in the area of Bílovice-Lutotín. The “Stezky k Bílovskému hradu” project made the Hrad u Bílovic site accessible to visitors.

Mount Horka is located in the immediate vicinity of Bílovice. Mount Chlum is located in the vicinity of Bílovice. In the wider regional surroundings of Bílovice are the mountains of Předina and Skály.
Geographical Location
The Romže stream separates Bílovice from Kostelec na Hané.
