Náměšť Na Hané: Hotels and Accommodation

Náměšť na Hané Chateau was built in 1766 as an early Neoclassical building of French design. The Terezské údolí Nature Reserve stretches between Náměšť na Hané and Laškov and is an exceptionally valuable geomorphological, botanical, zoological, and archaeological area.

Culture and History

The Zlatý salonek at Náměšť na Hané Chateau houses a collection of Meissen porcelain, including a large chandelier. Two archiepiscopal carriages stand in the service entrance. The family crypt of the Kinských counts was built in the Empire style; three generations of the Náměšť-Kinských family are buried in its crypt.

The statue of the Immaculate Virgin Mary in Náměšť na Hané was created in 1709 by the Olomouc Baroque sculptor David Johann Zürn the Younger. The present Church of St. Kunhuta was built after the old church was demolished on 26 July 1871. The foundation stone was blessed on 17 October 1871, the church building and tower were erected up to roof level in 1872, and the ceremonial consecration took place on 21 October 1873.

Nature and Trails

In Terezské údolí, flowering meadow plants cover the meadows and wetlands during the warmer months. As early as spring, the small blue flowers of the Austrian squill bloom there.

The Terezským údolím educational trail runs through meadows and along field and forest paths in the valley of the Šumice River and includes sites with thermophilic plants.

Chateau Park and Walking Routes

A park path with benches and lighting runs through the grounds of Náměšť na Hané Chateau. The chateau park surrounding Náměšť na Hané Chateau is connected all around by lime tree avenues with a circular path. The chateau grounds can be explored on four walking routes.

Breweries and Gastronomy

The Náměšťský pivovar premises include a brewery restaurant and a garden seating area, where, in addition to beer, smoked and grilled specialities are offered.

The Pivovar Jadrníček brewery brews beer using traditional methods and recipes, exclusively from Czech ingredients. At the Pivovar Jadrníček microbrewery, visitors can enjoy a smoke-free beer hall with Wi-Fi and 30 seats.

Getting There

Náměšť na Hané has a bus stop and a railway station. From both stops, the chateau can be reached via the red-marked hiking trail in approximately ten minutes uphill.
