Culture

The Hradisko Monument commemorates the freedom of the Czech nation and the victims of the world wars. It is a monumental structure made of rubble stone, with an enclosing wall and a staircase. A memorial stone near the monument commemorates its ceremonial unveiling, attended by President Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk in 1921.

Velký Týnec Chateau stands on the site of an originally medieval fortress with a farmyard. Count Karel Martinic had a Baroque chateau built on the fortress grounds. The chateau garden is freely accessible.

The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary (Kostel Nanebevzetí Panny Marie) was rebuilt into its present form between 1750 and 1760. It is a single-nave, longitudinal building with a semicircular apse. The Stations of the Cross were originally laid out along the path to Hradisko.

The Church of St. Matthew (Kostel sv. Matouše) in Vsisko was built in 1867. The church contains a working harmonium made by E. Krauss in Stuttgart in the second third of the 19th century. Two statues from the first half of the 18th century stand in front of the entrance: statues of Saint Barbara and Saint Matthew.

The Chapel of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary (Kaple Narození Panny Marie) in Čechovice was built in 1901. It is a single-nave, longitudinal building with a semicircular chancel. Two statues stand in front of the chapel; the years 1913 and 1890 are inscribed on their pedestals.

The Husův sbor of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church was built in 1924 based on a design by Alois Košacký. A memorial plaque commemorating the Czechoslovak legionnaires is located on its entrance façade. The gable of the Chapel of the Virgin Mary (Kaple Panny Marie) bears the coat of arms of Canon Giannini; the chapel also contains a stone tablet with an inscription and the year 1755.

The Zámeček was built by the Olomouc Chapter in 1792.

Nature

The Stezka z Týnce do Týnce trail is a 12-kilometre hiking route. There are ten stations along the trail with information boards about local sights and facts.

Háj Malého Noe was established as a grove on Hradisko Hill near Velký Týnec. Its creation was supported by the Nadace Malý Noe foundation, the Municipality of Velký Týnec, the company Arboeko, and individual tree sponsors.

Events

Týnecká folková zahrada is a recurring folk music festival held in the chateau garden.
