The Chapel of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, built in 1732, is located in Liboš.

Culture

On the road in the centre of Liboš stands the Neo-Gothic sandstone column of the Holy Cross, dating from 1893. In the past, a church service was held once a year in the Chapel of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, on the Sunday after 3 May.

In the village district of Krnov, part of Liboš, stands the small, brick-built, vaulted Chapel of St Anthony of Padua, dating from 1871. Liboš also has a wayside shrine and a coat-of-arms relief by Jiří Pavorin on the road to Hnojice.

The water installation at the mill in Liboš still generates electricity today.

Landscape and surroundings

At the edge of the Krnov district of Liboš, the municipality's territory transitions into the Litovelské Pomoraví Protected Landscape Area. Mount Skalice is located in the surroundings of Liboš; the hill of Lány [Štěpánov u Olomouce] is in the nearby area. Čechovy sady Park is also located in the surroundings of Liboš.

In the wider regional surroundings of Liboš are Mount Stráž, Mount Kamenná and Hrad Brníčko Castle. The Church of Our Lady of the Snows and the Church of St Michael are also located in the surrounding area.

Events

On 13 September 2025, the Libošský hodový koláč competition took place in Liboš, followed by a tasting open to everyone.

A Christmas exhibition with workshops for children takes place in the library of Liboš.
