Červenka: Hotels and Accommodation
One of Červenka’s special features is the Church of St. Alphonsus: it is the only church in the Czech Republic dedicated to Saint Alphonsus. It was solemnly consecrated on August 20, 1862; since the 1970s, a nativity scene has been displayed there every year at Christmas, with fresh moss from the forest used for its design each time.
Culture
The original small château served Archduke Maximilian Habsburg as a waiting building for the train. The Redemptorists adapted the château for their purposes. The Neoclassical Chapel of St. Paulina was built by 1798 and is a protected monument. In the wider regional surroundings of Červenka are also Hrad Brníčko Castle, the Monument to the Victims of the First and Second World Wars, the Church of Our Lady of the Snows, and the Church of St. Michael.
Nature
The U Přejezdu Nature Monument protects naturally occurring orchid populations and their habitat in a near-natural mixed deciduous forest community. The U hranic Hill [Uničov-Dětřichov] is located in the vicinity of Červenka. Mlýnský vrch Hill [Bílá Lhota-Řimice] is located in the surroundings of Červenka. In the wider regional surroundings of Červenka are Skalka Mountain and Skalice Mountain.
